For the speedway that has sat idle majority of the 2018 season one event's legacy is sure to live on. The countdown has started for the 19th Annual Little Guys Nationals at Mercer Raceway Park. The speed extravaganza offers something of interest for every racing fan, young and old. Headlining the event will be the 358 Modifieds along with Penn Ohio Series Stock Cars! But there will be more, including a return visit of the RUSH Sportsmen Modifieds, the 270 Micros, 2 brl EconoMods, Mod Lites, and Mini Stocks. The event will kick off Friday night, October 5, and will continue on Saturday, October 6.
As in years past, all competitors are encouraged to submit their registration forms in advance to take advantage of the discounted fee. Pre-entries can be obtained by going to the website, www.mercerracewaypark.com and clicking on the tab for the Little Guys Nationals or clicking HERE. Pre-entries should be received no later than Tuesday, October 2nd. Registrations will be accepted at that the track on race nights, but the full fees must be paid.
Parking spaces and VIP booths are available for reservation by calling the track office or emailing email@example.com. Marketing opportunities are available for the event as well as specific divisions. A listing of the opportunities will be posted in the next couple days.
Starting times, purse structures, and other race details will be announced next week. Watch the website, www.mercerracewaypark.com, and your favorite media outlets for the information.
Tickets will be available Friday for $15 for adults, $13 for seniors (60+), and $7 for students (9-15). Family Passes, for two adults and up to four minors of any age will be $32. Pit Passes will be $30. On Saturday, the adult admission will be $17, seniors $15, and students $7. The Family Passes will be $35, and Pit Passes will be $35.
Children (8 and under) will be free general admission both days.
